Nike x Manny Pacquiao Air Trainer 1

With all the fight hype surrounding Manny Pacquiao’s impressive victory over Miguel Cotto, Nike released a limited edition version of the Nike Air Trainer 1, in honor of the WBO World Welterweight Boxing Champion. This special edition sneaker, featuring a variety of Philippines flag design references, was released in limited quantities just in time for Manny’s return to the ring against Cotto.

A follow-up to the Nike Air Trainer 1 “Light’s Out” edition, originally released in honor of Pacquiao’s knockout victory over Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009, this latest addition to the Nike x Manny Pacquiao family of athletic gear compliments other recent releases including the limited edition Nike Team Pacquiao Eagle T-shirt, as well as the rest of the Nike Manny Pacquiao T-shirt collection.

Due to the limited edition nature of this release, the Pac-Man Nike sneakers disappeared quickly once released to the general public. Fight fans looking to scoop up a pair can whip out the credit card and hunt them down on eBay.
