RVCA has taken the next step in the creative clothing company’s quest to capitalize on the world of Mixed Martial Arts by signing Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort. Best known in MMA for crisp clothing collaborations with UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn, RVCA has branched out by sponsoring Belfort as well, who will be facing Rich Franklin in the main event at UFC 103. In honor of Belfort’s long awaited return to the Octagon, RVCA gives us a glimpse at the new Vitor Belfort Signature tee.
Belfort is best known for his former bouts within the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Belfort studied Gracie Jiu-Jitsu with the renowned Gracie family, having received a black belt under the guidance of Carlson Gracie. A long-time MMA veteran, Vitor looks to reclaim his place as a contender in the UFC as he returns to the Octagon on September 19th, 2009 to face Rich Franklin in the highly anticipated UFC 103 headliner.
