Popular Japanese MMA superstar Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto recently made his return to the fight game and brought along some interesting sponsors at the same time. Known for his B-Boy style and keen appreciation for the Streetwear scene, Yamamoto and training camp were seen wearing a collaboration t-shirt that featured his own clothing line Krazy Bee, along with popular Streetwear brand Crooks & Castles and elite Hawaiian sneaker store Kicks/Hi.
This collaboration shows some definite signs of cross-over appeal beginning to take shape within the MMA and Streetwear communities. Whether this is a sign of things to come, or just a one-time collaboration between the three parties, is still to be determined. Either way, Kid Yamamoto’s t-shirt marked a move in a different direction for the MMA clothing scene.
