UFC Undisputed video game

UFC Undisputedhas officially claimed the title as the  coolest video game on the planet. With stunning graphics, a variety of popular MMA characters to control, and the ability to virtually beat your best buddy into oblivion, it comes with no surprise that the game is flying off store shelves. Another interesting aspect of the game is the amount of MMA clothing brands and sponsors that THQ managed to squeeze into the game, from branded fight shorts, to logos plastered all over the Octagon.

By tapping into this clever form of unconventional marketing, clothing brands are capitalizing on the opportunity to gain maximum exposure for as long as the game gets played. Top MMA brands including Tapout, Sinister, Clinch Gear and others are all included in the game, with logos appearing on the likes of Forrest Griffin, Rampage Jackson and Georges St-Pierre.

While brand placement in video games isn’t an entirely new tactic, UFC Undisputed and THQ have made the most of this marketing opportunity by jam-packing the game full of popular clothing labels and products.
