After watching Chan Sung Jung and Leonard Garcia battle it out for the second time during their rematch at UFC Fight Night 24, a follow up to their initial slugfest back at WEC 48, it’s time to revisit the ultra-popular collection of Korean Zombie tees originally launched back in 2010. What Dana’s Wearing: The Korean Zombie 1.5 Tee

In today’s installment of “What Dana’s Wearing” we turn our attention to the Coaches Challenge that went down during last night’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter. In addition to watching Koscheck smack a few out of the park during the TUF 12 baseball challenge opposite GSP, we also had the chance to witness Dana donate 10 G’s to Team Koscheck for the win, while wearing The Korean Zombie 1.5 T-shirt by Tri-Coasta.

Initially setting The Korean Zombie T-shirt Craze on fire earlier this year while wearing the original tee at the UFC 113 weigh-ins, looks like DW’s decided to show a bit more love for Chan Sung Jung’s scrappy style by wearing his signature tee for the world to see on Spike TV. WEC 51: Aldo vs. Gamburyan Walkout Shirt Recap

World Extreme Cagefighting once again brought all kinds of action with WEC 51: Aldo vs. Gamburyan living up to every ounce of hype that surrounded the event which included the dominance of WEC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, a vicious grudge match between Donald Cerrone and Jamie Varner, plus a fast paced card that featured the return of the Korean Zombie, George Roop, Mark Hominick and more. In addition to witnessing Aldo attack Manvil “The Anvil” with a lethal uppercut followed by a barrage of flying fists, seeing Cerrone and Varner virtually assault eachother from the opening bell was enough to keep us all entertained for days.

Along with all the action came an assortment of new walkout styles from brands like Dethrone Royalty, Xtreme Couture, Tri-Coasta and more. Hands down, at the top of the heap was the second signature series T-shirt created in honor of the WEC Featherweight Champ Jose Aldo, along with a variety of other signature fighter tees including Cerrone’s cowboy themed T-shirt from TapouT and a couple of new Korean Zombie designs from Tri-Coasta.

Tri-Coasta x The Living Dead WEC 51 Walkout Tees

With Zombie mania running wild leading up to WEC 51 due to the return of Chan Sung Jung, here’s a closer look at a trio of walkout tees designed by Tri-Coasta, from the Korean Zombie collection. The Korean Zombie T-shirt Craze

With WEC 51 just a few days away there’s no question we’re in for quite a few big fights with Jose Aldo defending his title against Manny Gamburyan, Donald Cerrone and Jamie Varner preparing to batter each other in what’s brewing to be nothing short of a grudge match, plus the return of Miguel Torres, Mark Hominick and more. But nothing gets us more amped up than waiting to watch Chan Sung Jung (a.k.a. “The Korean Zombie”) step back inside the cage following his jaw-dropping “Fight of the Year” candidate against Leonard Garcia back at WEC 48. What started as a three round match, spiraled into one of the biggest MMA T-shirt success stories of 2010.

If you follow the fight game closely, chances are pretty good you either already own or want to own a Korean Zombie tee. Heck, even Dana White owns one. And he wore it for millions of fight fans to see back at the UFC 113 weigh-ins, which ultimately helped kick this T-shirt phenomenon into hyper-drive. Chan Sung Jung Battles Leonard Garcia at WEC 48

Although relatively unknown to WEC fight fans at the time, when Chan Sung Jung stepped into a WEC cage for the first time back at WEC 48 to slug it out with hard-hitting Leonard Garcia, a back and forth battle that ended with “Fight of the Night” honors, “The Korean Zombie” left a lasting impression on both Garcia and fight fans worldwide. When one of the most influential human beings on the planet wears your T-shirt, chances are pretty good you’ve struck gold. So was the case when Dana White decided to sport the Korean Zombie signature t-shirt during the UFC 113 weigh-ins and throughout his UFC 113 video blog.
