Going into UFC 121 Brock Lesnar appeared to be the “baddest man on the planet” but apparently Cain Velasquez wasn’t quite so convinced. After pummeling Brock into oblivion, in the process walking away with the UFC Heavyweight gold wrapped around his waist, Cain Velasquez propelled himself, along with his Dethrone Royalty signature series into the top spot in under five wild minutes inside the Octagon. There’s no question Brock will be back with a vengeance, but for the meantime it’s Cain Velasquez’s time to rule in the UFC Heavyweight division.

Amidst all the excitement leading up to UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez over the past month, this week was equally stacked with the arrival of a few new signature tees, EA Sports MMA finally hitting store shelves and enough MMA related video content floating around cyberspace to keep us all entertained. No question, Dethrone Royalty took top prize at UFC 121 for walkout shirt of the night worn by Cain Velasquez. EA Sports MMA Video Vignettes:

Despite taking what seemed to be forever for this game to finally get released, EA Sports MMA appears to be well worth the wait. Both the graphics and game-play are great, plus the roster of playable characters is pretty impressive as well. Adding a bit of fuel to the fire prior to the game hitting store shelves this past week, former Pro Wrestling promoter Paul Heyman joined forces with the EA Sports MMA team on creating this entertaining set of promotional video clips including the likes of Frank Shamrock, Gilbert Melendez and Fabricio Werdum. UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez Walkout Shirt Recap

UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez is officially in the books, and living up to the “Yes we Cain” promotional T-shirt campaign launched by Dethrone Royalty leading up to the fight, Cain Velasquez managed to make UFC Heavyweight history by dethroning Brock Lesnar via first round domination. With a stacked card that saw back and forth battles between Tito Ortiz and Matt Hamill, Diego Sanchez vs. Paulo Thiago, the wild main event and more, UFC 121 surely didn’t disappoint.
