Ranger Up reveals a new short sleeve style from the MMA Combatives collection in honor of the original U.S. Special Operations Forces unit – the MAC-V-SOG. The Military Assistance Command, Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (otherwise known as MAC-V-SOG) was a highly classified, special forces unit that conducted covert unconventional warfare operations prior to and during the Vietnam War. An elite group of soldiers, the MAC-V-SOG were involved in almost every mission of note throughout the Vietnam War, which eventually led to the formation of the U.S. Special Forces, Navy SEALS, and Marine Force Recon groups. This special edition tribute tee lists each of the team’s missions on the left sleeve, with the group’s operational years detailed on the back.
