With today marking the three year anniversary of Charles “Mask” Lewis’ untimely passing, comes a trailer for the upcoming Mask (2012) film by the MMA world’s leading filmmaker Bobby Razak. Documenting the life, times and career of Mask, Razak’s upcoming film focuses in on Lewis’ vision and inspiration behind TapouT, which led to the creation of one of the most iconic apparel brands in MMA today. Hayabusa Pro Training Series Commercial Featuring Shawn Tompkins

Last week we gave you a first look at the Hayabusa Pro Training Series collection, an all-new line of fight gear designed and developed in conjunction with “The Coach” Shawn Tompkins. Going back to earlier last year, here’s a 30 second commercial created by Hayabusa and film director Bobby Razak that showed glimpses of Coach Tompkins putting some of the gear to use during training, along with other pieces of equipment from the Hayabusa line. Although, with the devastating passing of Tompkins in 2011, the launch of the Pro Training Series was put on hold, until the team at Hayabusa was given the blessing from Shawn’s wife Emilie to release the line in honor of the popular coach’s dedication to the sport.

With Tompkins’ involvement in every facet of the Pro Training Series line’s design, from prototype to final development, the premium fight gear collection has finally been released, with a portion of proceeds on each and every sale going to the Tompkins family. As mixed martial arts continues to gain momentum as the fastest growing sport on the planet, Bobby Razak’s “History of MMA” film is about to take us back in time to the earlier days of the fight game. After dropping hints at the upcoming film with last week’s Fred Ettish trailer, here’s a look at the full length version which rewinds back to the UFC’s humble beginnings with old school footage of Big John McCarthy, Royce Gracie, Tito Ortiz, Charles “Mask” Lewis, and other pioneers of the sport. Taking us on a trip back to where it all began, the fight world’s favorite filmmaker Bobby Razak reveals a new trailer for his upcoming “History of MMA” film that’s set to come out later on this month for special screenings. Having solidified his spot as the number one film director in MMA over the years, with his renowned “Rites of Passage” film from back in the day, along with several creative commercials for TapouT, Dethrone, Bad Boy, and other top brands, Razak’s latest project looks to revisit the earlier days of mixed martial arts. Following up on the first trailer released a few months back starring Frank Shamrock, this latest piece focuses in on Fred Ettish who made a name for himself by entering the Octagon back at UFC 2 on March 11, 1994.

The Striking Truth GSP Red Carpet Premiere Video

Just prior to Georges St-Pierre’s successful title defense against Josh Koscheck at UFC 124, the red carpet premiere for GSP’s “The Striking Truth” documentary took place in Las Vegas on December 2nd, 2010. A project created in collaboration between Steven J. Wong, James Hergott and the MMA world’s favorite film director Bobby Razak, “The Striking Truth” takes a contrasting look at St-Pierre’s rise to the top of the UFC Welterweight division, in comparison to his good friend and training partner David “The Crow” Loiseau’s personal challenges in the fight industry. Providing a behind the scenes look at what went down at the film’s premiere, Kahleem Poole-Tejada takes us back to the night of December 2nd, 2010 for a glimpse at the film, the red carpet festivities and footage from the special Q&A with the film’s directors and David Loiseau following the documentary’s first public viewing.

Having had the chance to be at the premiere in person to take in all the action, we can honestly say the film is definitely worth checking out, with a great story story line and incredible action sequences provided by Bobby Razak. For an inside look at the “The Striking Truth” check out the video below including footage of all the MMA personalities who were on hand for the showing including the likes of The TapouT Crew, Bruce Buffer, Jose Aldo, Kenny Florian, in addition to the post-viewing Q&A commentary, along with Razak’s shout out to FighterXFashion at the 1:55 mark.
