Now that Nike has stepped things up as of late with a few UFC fighter sponsorships, it looks like some of the other major sports apparel companies are starting to target the MMA market as well. With UFC on FOX 6 going down on January 26th, word has spread that Reebok has signed a sponsorship deal with Rampage Jackson, leading up to his final UFC fight against Glover Teixeira during the card’s co-main event. However, if you’re hoping to see Rampage sporting Reebok inside the Octagon, don’t get your hopes up, as this seems to be an “outside the cage” endorsement deal. As stated by Jackson during this week’s UFC on FOX 6 conference call, he won’t be wearing Reebok on fight night. Although you can expect to see Rampage appearing in Reebok’s upcoming ad campaign, which focuses on some of Reebok’s newest footwear including the all-terrain ATV 19+ training shoe, which the former UFC light heavyweight champion has apparently been wearing while preparing for his upcoming war with Teixeira. Stay tuned for more info on the Reebok Rampage Jackson sponsorship deal in the days ahead, including details on the ATV 19+, ad campaign and more.
