For this week’s Top 3 countdown, we turn our attention to three of today’s hottest walkout tees. With UFC 113 officially in the books, WEC 48 still fresh in our minds, and UFC 114 just a couple of weeks away, here’s a look at a few fighter walkout styles from Bad Boy, Tri-Coasta and Silver Star Casting Co. MMA tees in general are hot commodities, but nothing gets a fight fan’s stamp of approval quite like a signature fighter shirt. With that in mind, here’s a look at three of today’s top tees.
Top 3 – MMA Walkout T-shirts:
On May 8th, 2010, a Shogun rolled into Montreal, Canada and slayed a dragon dead square in the center of the Octagon. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua silenced all critics who yapped about him not having the weapons in his arsenal to defeat Machida in this rematch title fight. Making a serious statement by emphatically knocking out the previously undefeated Lyoto Machida and taking his belt in the process, Shogun Rua and his signature UFC 113 walkout tee clearly deserve this #1 spot.
Not only did Chan Sung Jung walk away with what looks to be “Fight of the Year” (if not decade) honors following his 3 round war with Leonard Garcia at WEC 48, he currently has one of the most sought after signature T-shirts out there today, thanks due in part to Dana White sporting the awesome looking tee at the UFC 113 weigh-ins (click for video). If you’ve been living under a rock this past week, do yourself a favor and check out the Tri-Coasta Korean Zombie T-shirt.
In addition to Sung Jung’s signature tee, “The Korean Zombie” wore this official WEC 48 walkout shirt for his bout with Garcia in Sacramento. Go for broke and catch yourself a double dose of Zombie fever with his signature style, as well as this top notch Tri-Coasta walkout shirt.
No other individual on this planet gets himself more pumped up for a fight (other than Bruce Buffer of course) than Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez. The champion of positive self-reinforcement, nothing beats a Diego Sanchez “YES! YES!! YESSSS!!!” pre-fight walkout. With that in mind, Silver Star Casting Co. has signed the wild and crazy lightweight fighter to the team with his UFC 114 signature walkout tee.
Hot off the heels of his battle with BJ Penn at UFC 107, Sanchez makes his return to the Octagon at UFC 114 against John Hathaway. Psyche yourself out, along with every other fight fan on your block, with his new walkout tee.
