With UFC 118 officially in the books it’s time to rewind for a minute and call attention to a few key standout styles from the past couple of weeks. First off, Boston was a pretty crazy place last weekend with UFC 118 and the UFC Fan Expo in town. Having the chance to check out some of the latest gear from all the top brands in one location during the course of two stacked days was a great time.

In addition to the action that took place during UFC 118 weekend, here’s a quick recap of some of the best new gear to hit the MMA scene over the course of the past week or so.

For the diehard collectors among us, Jakks also revealed a limited edition Georges St-Pierre collectible created specifically for the Fan Expo. Featuring the UFC Welterweight Champ’s traditional walkout gear including Gi and headband, plus a shiny gold leather and diecast championship belt wrapped around his waist, this miniature mixed martial artist is sure to drive all of you action figure buffs out there in a frenzy.

Tokyo Five Fight Shorts

UFC 118 Fighter Walkout Music

Following last weekend’s invasion of Boston with UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn II and the UFC Fan Expo rolling into town, it’s time to take a trip back to the fight card at UFC 118 and recap the walkout songs selected by each of the main card’s competitors. In addition to the UFC 118 Walkout Shirts worn by each of the fighters, the walkout music paired up with each fighter’s trek to the cage always manages to pump us up that much more.

From the soothing sounds of BJ Penn’s Hawaiian walkout tune, to some of the more blood-pumping beats like Mario Miranda’s “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” by DMX, UFC 118 brought the heat with another wide variety of walkout songs to rage out to. Hometown hero Kenny Florian even managed to slip in an ode to Beantown by walking out to “For Boston” by the Dropkick Murphys.
